Favorites // June

WOW! It’s the end of June already?! June was an amazing fun-filled month including the first official day of summer, relaxing vacations, and this blog’s first official post! Therefore, it is easy to say that I had A LOT of favorites this month, but I decided to narrow the list to my absolute most faves. This month’s favorites include a few fashion accessories and beauty and hair products that I have found myself reaching for relentlessly. What have your go-to’s been this month?

Aerie Strappy Scoop Bikini Top:

This scrappy little bikini top just screams summer! Not only is the back detail of the straps amazing, take a look at that color! Usually I’m not so keen on bright bold colors, but the peachy coral color of this bikini was irresistible. Plus, it looks amazing with a tan! This bikini has exceeded my expectations. Its detailing makes it interesting and cute; it’s comfortable and most importantly it stays on. It is ocean wave tested and approved!

Black Wrap Choker (DIYd):

Sooo… I may have a new obsession. I am all about those choker necklaces this summer! This one I made in about five minutes. (To find out how a made a similar wrap choker, check out my blog post.) I love how the black suede and silver beading add an edgier look to my outfits. I have found that choker necklaces can really make a statement and add some extra pizazz to an outfit, and even better they take just 2 seconds to throw on!

Silver Jewelry:

Another accessory that I can’t get enough of is silvery jewelry in general. Honestly, I’m not sure why I’m loving it so much. Usually I’m a gold accessory type of girl, but recently I added a few silver pieces into my collection and they have been my go-to’s this month.

Essie’s Penny Talk Nail Polish:

This was the first nail polish I used when transitioning from the darker winter nail polishes… and I can’t get enough! It is a shimmery copper color…perfect for summer!

Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Soft Waves Sea Salt Spray

After getting my hair cut short recently, I have been trying to achieve those oh so natural beachy waves. Anytime I tried curling my hair, I was either left with tight curls that left me looking like Annie or flat straight hair. This sea salt spray is a miracle worker. Just a few spritz into my curled hair and some scrunching, and I’m left with loose natural waves and plenty of volume too! Oh, and it smells like the beach, so another win for me!

much love.
